All roles are on-site and hands-on. We match you to what fits best — just let us know what sounds right on the form below.
Check-in and registration
Welcome guests, hand out scorecards and swag, get the morning energy going.
On-course game stations
Run our challenge holes — collect entries, announce rules, watch shots, and award prizes on the spot.
Snack and hydration station
Keep players fueled out on the course. Set up, restock, and enjoy a front-row seat to the action.
Course setup and signage
Set up sponsor banners, hole markers, and challenge stations before tee-off.
Raffle and prizes
Track contest results, organize raffle items, and help run the post-round awards.
Photography
Capture the day. We will give you a shot list. You bring the camera or phone.

Future Physician Ambassador Program
Want to go further? Help lead a tournament.
Five Future Physician Ambassadors are selected for each Clubs & Scrubs event to serve as Tournament Volunteer Leads. You'll train with our team beforehand, take ownership of an assigned area, and help lead the general volunteer team on tournament day.
It is a real leadership position with a registered physician wellness nonprofit — and something meaningful to show for it.

What ambassadors actually do
- Attend pre-tournament planning and training
- Learn their assigned tournament area before event day
- Arrive before general volunteers
- Take ownership of an assigned area of tournament operations
- Help brief and lead the volunteers working in that area
- Serve as a first point of contact for general volunteer questions
- Interact professionally with golfers, physicians, sponsors, course staff, volunteers, and Clubs & Scrubs leadership
- Help troubleshoot normal tournament day issues and escalate bigger questions to leadership
- Help with setup and stay through the required post-event cleanup
The commitment
About 2 weeks before
Planning and training meeting
A 1-hour meeting to meet the Clubs & Scrubs team, learn the event structure, and understand your assigned area.
Tournament week
Final ambassador briefing
A 1-hour briefing to review final details, assignments, volunteer coverage, maps, and any last-minute updates.
Tournament day
Arrive before the general volunteer team
Ambassadors arrive at least 30 minutes early, help prepare their area, lead throughout the event, and stay through cleanup.
Total commitment
Approximately 11–12 verified service hours for a typical tournament, including training and tournament day.
Who makes a good Ambassador?
You do not need previous Clubs & Scrubs experience. We're looking for medical students who can take ownership and solve normal problems without needing constant direction.
Previous MedGolf / Clubs & Scrubs volunteers may receive priority consideration.
Eligibility
Currently enrolled medical students, any year.
What ambassadors get out of it
Leadership experience
A defined leadership position with a registered physician wellness nonprofit and real responsibility at a physician event.
Physician mentorship
An opportunity for a one-hour mentorship conversation with an available MedGolf Wellness Foundation physician or board member.
Letter of recommendation
Ambassadors who complete their responsibilities and follow through well may have the opportunity to request a letter of recommendation.
Relationships and networking
Spend the tournament working alongside practicing physicians, residents, healthcare professionals, sponsors, and our team.
Verified service hours
Training and tournament participation are documented through MedGolf Wellness Foundation.
Future opportunities
Strong ambassadors may be considered for future tournaments and other MedGolf Wellness Foundation opportunities.
